Festival Information

The Beaver Island Irish Féile was started in 2019, sponsored by the Beaver Island Chamber of Commerce as well as multiple private businesses on Beaver Island. The festival began a collaborative event between the Beaver Island Chamber of Commerce, the Beaver Island Community Center, and the Beaver Island Historical Society, in which music entertainment was coupled with educational events planned at both the school and the Mormon Printshop Museum. The Féile is a showcase for the Irish heritage of Beaver Island, also known as “America’s Emerald Isle.”

Beaver Island, Michigan is the most remote inhabited island in the Great Lakes, As an unbridged island, the only way to and from travel to Beaver Island is via ferry, airplane or boat. Beaver Island is an amazing place to visit to unwind, unplug and relax. It is also a great place to attend a truly unique Irish Festival.

Hand stamps are REQUIRED to attend any of the musical/dancing performances. Event staff will be working the doors to check hands. Any persons without a stamp will be subject to a $10 cover at the door for each establishment/event they attend. The weekend pass is a great value! Weekend passes are $40 if you pre-pay before August 1, 2022. After August 1, weekend passes are $50. Day passes can be purchased for $25. Children 17 and under are free!

Hand stamps can be purchased/collected at the Cultural Center/Holy Cross Hall starting at 1:00 p.m. on September 9. This also includes online order and pre-purchased passes. If you are arriving to the island after the Cultural Center/Holy Cross Hall is closed, you will have the option of buying a pass at any of our music locations.

We will have a shuttle service to transport festival attendees from town to the Circle M. Look for shuttles outside the Beaver Island Community Center. Shuttles will be available from 6 pm to 11 pm.

Taxi service is available with B’s Taxi. Her services are available for getting around town and/or pickup and drop off to and from the airport and other places out of town. She can be reached at 989-239-9292.
